About The White Elephant Cafe

about the white elephant cafe image of the sign
We acquired this charming little business in December 2019. The business caught our attention when we saw the name “White Elephant”
My wife “Jit” and I were instantly attracted to the name, as “Elephants” to Asians, are a very sacred, beautiful and peaceful creature!

The White Elephant is often associated with royalty and Thai Bhuddist leaders and is a symbol of Prosperity.

Jit is a lady with a real passion for traditional home made and Thai Food. And yes, Thai food will be very prominent on our menu. Along with traditional home made foods of course!

We were also attracted to the pure beauty of the building.
Situated in a Victorian courtyard which simply oozes character!
It has beautiful high ceilings, a real cosy community feel, and is surrounded by a stunning urban oasis!
